Baby Mine

"Is this is how we wear shirts, Mom?"
Best buds, little Nick Monroe and little Jeff Sand

Good looking boys in blue. Jeff had basically crawled up Kirb's chest and it was so cute.

Asleep in the carseat on the way to take Grampa Paul to the airport.

What a big boy! He holds his head up on his own pretty much constantly.

These are two quilts made by Great-Gramma Swisher, the one in the back is the one she made me when I was a baby, and there are some of the same shapes on the one for Jeff, it is very cool! Thanks Gramma! We love it!

My dad, Grampa Paul, with his first grandchild, Jefferson Paul.

Our little family! And this was the day of the first OSU game, everyone notice Jeff seems to be the biggest fan. :)

Well, all is well here at the Sand Castle. I just wanted to put some more pictures of Jefferson on here for people to see. Jeff is changing every day, he is just so cute! He is very strong and loves to look at everything he can take in. At his two week check-up he was up to 10 lbs, 10 oz. and that was after getting down to 9 lbs. after the breastfeeding problem we had in the beginning, so I think he is really doing great and the pediatrician thought he was just perfect. (of course that's what they tell the parents) :) We already knew he was perfect though.

My dad came to visit and we had a great time with him here. He is a proud grampa and thinks Jefferson takes after him in his love of eating and kisses. He made us some fantastic steaks and did some things around the house like fix our gutter that was coming away from the house (I hadn't even noticed yet), and he had to deal with some wasps while he was up there. He was really helpful and generous with everything. It was just nice to have him here and I hope it was relaxing and fun for him too. Thanks for coming out Dad! Can't wait to see you again!

Next week the Sands come, and we are really looking forward to their visit. I think they are excited to meet Jefferson!

Well, enjoy the pictures and we'll post more soon!

He's certainly a handsome kid. He looks more like Megan now, I think. Nice beaver onesie, we'll have to get Claire some more beaver gear when we're down there! We're glad everything is going well for you. Keep the pictures coming...

Meg & Kirb,
I can hardly stand the wait! Pictures are just not enough and next Wednesday cannot come fast enough! He looks like both of you and you are such a good looking family! Give him a big hug and kiss from Aunt Jenny.

XOXO :)
