Big bouncing baby boy!

Jefferson Paul Sand

Hello! Jefferson is doing very well, and according to our scale he is a little over 13 pounds already. It is truly amazing how much he is growing and changing. He is so cute, smiling all the time and trying to talk. His coos are the best sounds in the world. It's impossible not to smile when he is "talking." He is on a pretty good schedule of eating and sleeping, I only get up once after I go to bed, and then he wakes up at about 7am. After that feeding, his favorite thing to do is lie on his changing table after getting a new diaper and kick for about 10 minutes straight. He looks out the window and just gets so excited and does that little sort of hiccup excited breathing thing, and coos and smiles too. His legs look like he could be running in place, and Kirb says it looks like he's spurring a horse. He loves to listen to music, especially Kirb playing guitar. His favorite position for being held is in the football hold on his tummy.

Since the last post, we had a visit from Kirb's parents and sister, and we had a great time. They were anxious to meet him, and they loved looking at him, holding him, taking pictures, even changing his diaper! My sister-in-law Jenny is a great photographer and took some really great photos, thanks so much! We now don't have any planned visits from family, so we have to wait until Christmas to see everyone again. Jeff will have changed so much, so we promise to continue taking lots of pictures and keeping up with the blog. Enjoy!
