You're a good boy, Jefferson Sand

I think there is a picture of Kirby that seriously
looks exactly like this! So crazy. :)

Hello, there is not too much new here, but I just thought I would put up a few pictures for all Jeff's fans. I also just wanted to mention what a wonderful gift Jeff is. He is just such a good baby! He is happy, he eats well, he sleeps well, he is just so sweet and so much fun! I get to have a good sleep every night too. He's slept pretty well ever since he was born, and for several months has slept through the night, with the hours extending out as time passes. Now we are at between a 8:30-9pm bedtime, and between a 7:30-8am wakeup time. He wakes up happy, talking and playing in his crib, and he's just so cute! Anyway, I just had to mention what a great boy we have.

I'm getting ready for a nap

It is week 10 of OSU's winter term, so I am giving final lessons before juries next week, and getting final preparations done in choosing repertoire for my students and for teaching vocal pedagogy next term. Also, next term will be a new thing for Jeff; he will start going to a childcare center that is affiliated with OSU. It is very nice and only a few blocks from the music building where I teach on campus. I had originally wanted someone to come to our home, but I have realized I don't really want someone that I don't already know to come here. Maybe it was that horrid story on the news last week about a nanny, I don't know. I guess I feel pretty good about this daycare, and it is only two days a week, part-time. I am incredibly grateful to our friend Staci, who has been taking care of Jeff one day a week for a few hours ever since I went back to teaching. It was so great knowing he was in such good care and getting to hang out with his buddy Nick! Thank you so so so much Staci! Also, thanks to Kirby for coming home early one day a week. I know Jeff loves his Daddy only time. :)

Looking in the mirror at the little boy!
This next Wednesday, my youngest brother Brent is coming to visit. He hasn't been out since we've owned our house, so it will be fun to have him here and for him to hang out with his favorite (and only) :) nephew. We will probably do a little HP tour, a visit out to the coast, and then we are going up to Seattle to be with the Smith family for Easter. It should be a fun time. We'll post more soon!
