Happy Thanksgiving!
Our little family on Thanksgiving day
Cute? Me? Ah, shucks

Jeff then and now!
Happy Thanksgiving! I guess it is the end of the holiday weekend, and it has been nice, although I think I got even less sleep. But it was worth it. We went to Seattle on Wednesday evening, leaving later in the evening to stay away from the big rush of traffic. It worked out really well, we only spent 4.5 hours on the road, which is making very good time, and we had nice clear weather which makes it easier too. We got there and chatted with my aunt and uncle. The next day we had church in the morning which was great. There was great music, a great message, and great thoughts and stories given by members of the church telling of what they were thankful for, and it was just wonderful. We went back to the house and got to work getting everything ready as everyone arrived for dinner. My cousins and their families all came, another friend of the family came, and one of my cousin's in-laws came too. Only one of my cousins from that family wasn't there. We had all of the male great-grandchildren of the Hudson and Miriam Armerding clan, and it was fun to see them all together. We had a wonderful meal, and lots of fun chatting and cleaning up later.
First cousins Will, Luke, and Ellric, with their second cousin Jeff
On Friday I got up early with Jeff and took a walk and got to chat with my family back in SD, and it was cool, clear, and beautiful that morning, and I was able to get a glimpse of Mt. Rainier in one direction, the city another way, and the Olympic Mountains in another. it was pretty awesome. Kirb and I went out for lunch later and explored West Seattle a little, and then saw our friends Jason and Kelly. Kelly is pregnant and she is getting a little tiny bump and she looks so cute. On Saturday we got ready to leave and just spent some time talking with my aunt and uncle. We left and on our way went to my cousin Miriam and her husband Josh's place, and hung out and saw their little one, Will. He is four months older than Jeff and it was fun to see the stage ahead: sitting up, grabbing and playing with toys, rolling over, etc. It was fun. Then we went on our way and stopped in Portland for dinner with friends. We got home pretty late, but it was fun and now is nice to have a day at home before the work week starts again.
Jeff then and now!
We are so thankful for all our blessings. This year obviously we are most thankful for our little son Jefferson, he is such a joy and we are just so happy that everything with the pregnancy went well, and now with him here everything is going great and he is very healthy. And we are just having so much fun with him and being a little family! What more could we ask for? We hope you all are appreciating the many blessings in your lives and we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy the pictures! :)
Here is a video of Jeff playing a little and cooing. He doesn't "talk" much in this clip, but it's still pretty cute. I'll try to catch one of his speeches with all the different consonants and combinations of sounds one of these days, but these ooh's are pretty cute anyway. :)
Rub-a-dub-dub, little Jeff in the tub!
