Hi! Here are some more pictures of our beautiful baby boy! We came home from the hospital yesterday and it is really nice to be home with our Jefferson. The hospital people were wonderful, but it is hard when people have to come in all the time to check things and hard to not be home in our own bed. I am recovering from labor just fine, it was very hard work though. I wouldn't recommend having a 10 lb. 4 oz. baby. :) The doctor and nurses said I did a really great job, and they couldn't believe how big he was when he finally came out. But he was worth all the work! It is crazy not having him in my belly and it is weird to be able to bend over and pick something up off the floor easily. Jefferson is such a good baby, we just love everything he does. Even his cry is cute. I see Kirby in him so much, it is overwhelming to see such familiar features in our little baby. We love him so so much!
We are tired and I guess I am bad at resting when the baby does, I just 
don't want to miss anything and so I haven't had a ton of sleep, but I am feeling good and my mom is still here, and that is a big help for us. Kirby is a wonderful dad and he is always there to help me out with whatever I need during feedings and things. He played guitar while I fed earlier today, and little Jeff (or shall I say big Jeff) seemed to enjoy it a lot. :) Also, today he went golfing (I told him to go) and he beat his best score in his life by 4 strokes. I guess being a dad and being sleep deprived suits him just fine. :)

We are just trying to enjoy every minute and so I am sorry we haven't really been in touch with everyone personally yet, but we hope this blog helps everyone see why we don't want to spend hours on the phone or computer. :) We will try to get ahold of people in the coming days so we can chat, and feel free to give us a call if you want. We appreciate all the prayers, congratulatory messages and gifts for the baby, we feel so blessed having such wonderful friends and family. Enjoy the pictures!

We are so happy for you guys, and we know how exciting/tiring this time can be, enjoy every moment of it because you don't get it back. Savannah is anxious to meet her newewst cousin.
Oh by the way he is ADORABLE!!! A little Kirby.
Congratulations! Pretty sure he is already bigger than Claire, so it will be fun to sit them next to each other in October.
He definitely looks a lot like Kirby.
