After we figured things out and knew we were ready to stay in this area for a while, we decided, very unofficially, to keep our eyes open for another house. We loved our little house and it will always be a special place with so many memories: our first house, the home we brought Jeff and Cora to from the hospital, many visits from friends and family, so many wonderful things!
Well, we looked at one other house and then found this one. I saw it on Zillow and set up an appt. to go see it. We went and fell in love…..
It was a foreclosure, and somehow, we got it! Holy cow. We were excited. We initially were going to sell the other house, but realized that we could keep it and rent it, and we were able to get renters who signed a 1 year lease within 24 hours of advertising the home was for rent.
