We had a fun time with my brother Brent and his girlfriend Terra this past week. I always feel a little bad that we don't go and DO more when people come to visit, but so much involves driving which they were just kind of over after driving from Ohio where my brother was working. That's quite the haul. Anyway, I seem to notice that the visits are just
slightly more frequent since the arrival of Jefferson, so I figure spending time with him is the important part anyway. :) They got to see a week in the life of having a one-year-old, and took care of him on their own one night so we could go out for our anniversary. That was nice, thanks!! We had Jeff's BBQ, we went to the coast, the farmer's market, a couple parks, we took a couple walks and little hikes, we went out to eat, we watched movies, we went bowling, the guys went golfing a couple times...anyway, we had fun. We hope they have a safe trip home!
At the farmer's market downtown Corvallis
There's a sidewalk fountain for kids to play in and there are probably 25 of those little drain looking things that you can see and they go in different patterns
and levels of pressure and water so it's fun for the kids

Out near Seal Rock on the Oregon Coast
Ok, sorry if this is gruesome, but I had to show people the dead SHARK! we found on the shore.
This one was about 3.5-4 feet long. I think it may take me a while to wade in the ocean again. The water is darn cold anyway. :)
We went to the visitor's center after getting soaked by the rain!
The lighthouse was open at Yaquina Head, and here's a picture of the light and lens.
