Well Baby

Hi, I figured out this fist in the mouth thing!

We have the official news: we have a "well baby." Jefferson Paul is now 14 pounds, 2 ounces, and 26.25 inches. I was a little surprised by both because I thought he weighed a little more, and had no clue how long he was! He is in the 95 percentile for weight, and supposedly way off the charts for length. When his doctor walked in the room and looked at how long he was, he said, "I want to be that kid's agent." :) Jeff had some shots too which of course aren't fun, but he actually did quite well. He screamed for a few seconds and then I picked him up and he was calm. He never seemed to be sore so that was nice too.

Everything is going fine here, it is the beautiful Oregon autumn and we are enjoying it. One thing that was more exciting than I thought it would be was receiving my Master's Degree Certificate in the mail. I didn't go to my graduation, it was only two days after Jeff was born, on the day we went home from the hospital. Since I have been done since June I guess I just hadn't thought about it too much. Also, there was sort of this little fear in the back of my head that somehow I hadn't actually graduated for some reason, so getting the certificate was pretty cool.

Anyway, this weekend we are going up to Portland. Kirby is playing in a golf tournament with some of our friends, and we are maybe going to do some car shopping. We probably aren't going to buy anything just yet, but we want to see what we like and they have a lot more to offer up there.
Well, enjoy the pictures! He's such a cutie!
Tired boys
almost sitting up
"I'm getting tired, Mom!"
peek!
We call this sleep sack "Old Blue," he loves it. I don't know what I will do when he grows out of it. When he's tired we can just put him in it and he'll be asleep in no time.
And he's just so cute in it!

Hey Guys,
Love the pics! Your Blog is soooo cool!

By the way, ask Kirby when I am going to get that picture of him feeding Jeff, and me feeding him? The world needs to see it... ;^)

later,

Mike
