HI!
Greetings from the Sandcastle! All is well here. Not too much is new. I started teaching at OSU again, teaching the Italian and Latin Lyric Diction course, and also teaching voice lessons. The course takes a lot of work, but all in all I am really enjoying doing some teaching. It is only about 8 hours of in class time a week, so I can still mainly be home with Jefferson. I have a neighbor watching Jeff when I teach the class twice a week on Tuesday/Thursday, Staci (little Nick's mom) watching him for a few hours on Wednesdays, and Kirby comes home early one day a week and watches him for several hours. It is working out pretty well.
I am singing in a couple upcoming events, including this next Thursday singing an aria with the Corvallis Repertory Singers and Orchestra on a Bach cantata. Then in December it is more Bach, singing an aria in the Magnificat with the OSU Chorus and Corvallis/OSU Symphony. Should be fun.
The last singing I did was with Kirby this past weekend in our friends Noah and Sarah's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding on Sunday afternoon and it was a fun weekend. Kirby and I were both in the wedding standing up for those two, and then at the reception we sang "At last" for them. We got to see a lot of college friends and a bunch of people from high school, and that was a good time. Jeff did pretty well, although it gets to be a bit much when there's no place to nap and there are so many people around. We thought he did great though. We also had this little tux for him, (which I just didn't get enough pictures of before he spit up all over it) and it was just soooo cute. We borrowed it from a friend of a friend, and it was quite a hit. :) Jeff had his first experience sleeping in his pack-and-play in a hotel, and did great, and he was even able to nap on the floor while there was a DJ playing music. Good boy! :)

During the week before the wedding, we also had some company. Garrett who we went to high school with came with his fiancee Jill, we hadn't seen him in many years, and then our friends from college, Andy and Sarah, came to visit with their little daughter Claire. She is a month older than Jeff, and she's such a cutie, a very beautiful baby. She and Jeff got to meet, and once in the car with the moms they both decided to start screaming, and all Sarah and I could do was laugh. :) Most of the time they were just having a good time and they were both very good babies and it was so fun to spend some time with their little family; we don't get to see them very often and they are moving to Kentucky in not much time. Sad :( We went to college with them, then they got married and I sang in their wedding and Kirb was in it and now they have been married four years and have a baby. wow, time flies. We have had lots of fun time with them and will miss them.

Well, I have work to do and a baby to feed, so I will get going. Enjoy the pictures, and we hope everyone is doing great! :)

Hey Kirb, Meg, and Jefferson,
I'm still loving the updates and check this blog daily! Is there a way to upload the photos so they can be enlarged? I want to save them to my computer, but they're too compressed and pixelated. Also, I bet if you changed your settings to allow anonymous comments more people might drop you a line. Just a thought. I love you guys so much!!!! Please give kisses to Jefferson for me.
Love, jen
good idea Jen, I changed the settings and will put a notice in the next blog so people know. I don't know about the pictures. We love you too, and can't wait to see you again!
You look absolutely beautiful! Jefferson is seriously one of the most beautiful baby's I have ever seen. Things in Italy are going well! Looks like you are doing well. Hope you got my post card. Love you and miss you lots! MUAH!!!
